ADVANCED QUERIESwhen you already have a thesis
A vs B · ZEC vs BTC finds BTC's best-matching stretch automatically - no dates needed.
eras are neighborhoods · add 2016 and the search covers the cycle around it; pin it tight with 2016..2020 or exact dates.
settle a thread · ZEC vs BTC 2013, 2016, 2017 runs all three side by side, each graded against the engine's own pick. screenshot the winner.
famous patterns · the FRACTAL LIBRARY strip lays the dot-com bubble, the 2008 crash, or bitcoin's 2017 run over whatever you're viewing. ◀ ▶ cycles, ✕ removes.
FILTER THE MATCHESthe chips under the chart
SIMILAR DURATION ONLY · optional: narrows the list to matches that ran at roughly your chart's speed. off by default - you see everything the engine found.
CHAIN · where each coin lives: ROBINHOOD, SOLANA, ETH, BASE, L1, macro, self-repeats. GRADE · elite to fair. PATH · where it points next. filters combine.
IGNORE EXTREME WICKS · clips launch spikes out of spiky charts (ZEC's day-one candle) before matching - usually finds far more matches.
USING IT ON Xwhere fractals actually get argued
follow @findafractal and tag it under any chart:
$SOL · the current cycle's matches as one image, priced live - same default as the app.
SOL full · the whole chart instead (FULL, HISTORY, ALL, WHOLE all work).
SOL vs BTC 2016 · your comparison, graded. months (2016-06) and ranges (2013..2015, 2013-2015, 2013 to 2015) all parse. case and $ never matter.

THE LIMITS, PLAINLYso nothing surprises you
new launches need 60+ days of trading before they can be searched. matches only come from windows that ended at least 90 days ago - last month's runs and rugs are the present, not precedent. an asset younger than yours is never offered as a whole-chart match. and when nothing clears the bar, you see nothing: an honest zero beats a fake match.
THE SCORE · RESEMBLANCE 0-100 one metric picks, grades and draws every match
070 GOOD80 STRONG 90 ELITE
the big arc must agree AND the lines must move together in every stretch - opposite movement subtracts, a crash the match had that your chart didn't costs full price, and the score pays for any resizing the overlay needed. only the top few percent of matches in the whole library clear 90.
THE ● TARGETthe macro pivot, never a minor swing
the ● marks the story's macro high or low: the extreme the fractal actually reached and never broke. a small dip the market later erased is the road, not the target - hover the chart and the full route shows. the drawn path continues from the overlay's own ending, and every % and $ is measured from the current live price. past outcomes, not forecasts.
14.9Mdays of market history, from 1962 treasuries to the coin that listed last month
105Malignments checked every search, each chart stretched across 7 speeds
0-100every match graded by one metric: what your eye would score, computed
0hand-picked matches. if nothing clears the bar, you see nothing. that's the point
the heavy lifting stays invisible: charts refresh themselves through today's candle, unknown tickers get their full history pulled on the spot, and every directional call is graded by a back-tested procedure before it is allowed to speak. past outcomes, not forecasts. you decide.

ETH full match the whole chart instead (FULL, HISTORY, ALL and WHOLE all work)
SOL vs BTC 2016 lay one chart's era over another - years (2016), months (2016-06) and ranges (2013..2015) all parse, exactly like the search box here
attach a chart imagethe pattern is read straight from the picture and matched across the whole library
capitalization and the $ are optional: doge, DOGE, $doge and $DOGE are all the same coin to the bot. months (2016-06) and ranges (2013..2015, 2013-2015, 2013 to 2015) all parse. replies land in about a minute; a brand-new ticker takes a couple while its history is pulled and scanned - after that it's fast for everyone, forever.
why it might not replyit only answers direct tags; the ticker needs 60+ days of trading; unreadable text gets a short how-to back; and when nothing clears the grade bar it says so - an honest zero beats a fake match.
image tips one clean chart per image: visible price axis, line or candles, no drawings over the pattern. screenshots straight from TradingView or an exchange work best; memes over the candles confuse the reader.
